Meghan Blaylock Smith
Esthetician

Meghan has worked in the beauty industry since high school. At sixteen, she was head makeup artist at The Body Shop in the South Coast Plaza mall. She was recruited to be a makeup artist with Elizabeth Arden and started traveling to different stores. From there, she went on to work with Chanel, Smashbox, and Lancome.

She relocated to Los Angeles to study at the Makeup Designory, and completed their Journeyman Program, a beauty program for film, television, and print. After that, she studied with Margaret Kimura at MKC Academy. In her Masters Program, Meghan honed her skills in high fashion beauty makeup for print, as well as aesthetics, skin care, and treatments for red carpet and camera appearances. That laid the groundwork for the next step in her career.

She began working as a makeup artist for film, television, print advertising campaigns, and commercials, as well as red carpet
and industry events. She always started with a fantastic skin treatment to make sure clients looked their best.
Throughout her career, Meghan has also been teaching makeup application, sharing her skills with friends and colleagues.
After working as a professional makeup artist for many years, Meghan was looking for a way to expand her knowledge and grow her career. She has always believed-and preached-that good skin and great makeup go hand in hand. With that in mind, she decided to go back to school and familiarize herself with medical aesthetics. She earned her esthetician license and started the next chapter in her career.

In 2021, Meghan began working alongside the talented team at Honest Dermatology. She is excited to be at a place in her career where she can share her skills with anyone who wants to look-and feel-more beautiful.
